Sophi’s photos use natural light. Her images are candid and untouched. She loves shooting in black and white. She loves street photography, portraiture, editorial spreads and photo-journalism.
Sophi began designing websites when she needed a platform to host her photography portfolio. Once she started, she couldn’t stop.
Graphic design naturally followed. She worked exclusively for Kaan Zamaan Art Gallery designing all their exhibition advertising as featured in artnews.
Videography began seeping in when she met her husband, Mark, with whom she co-founded The Renegade Peach Project.
She began her children’s t-shirt label banana slug. with her friend Stephanie when their respective tribes of sons came along. Sophi was in charge of the branding and graphic design, as well as transferring their designs from paper into the world of screen printing.
She runs a non-profit project ZHIZHY which showcases projects, people and businesses geared towards sustainability, community and change.
